Jamie Nicholson

Jamie Nicholson is a Research & Design Engineer, working out of the Toronto Technology Centre with a background in metal fabrication and CNC machining. Jamie has a passion for getting more people involved in the workshop and fostering a community of innovators. She is a part-time teacher at George Brown College, where she facilitates classes in the machine shop and shares her hands-on experience and machining knowledge with students.

Since joining Autodesk in 2020, Jamie has been dedicated to assisting the resident and research community with their projects. She has provided both digital fabrication consultations and hands-on experience on the machines. Her goal is to help minimize the barrier for entry and encourage everyone, especially women, to get involved in manufacturing.
