Safety - Onsite Workshop Orientation (Boston)
Basic safety training and walk through of the Boston technology center. Required for any further shop training.
Description
This course is intended to introduce you to the Boston Technology Center workshop and train new users and tour guides about the shop hazards, safety protocols, training programs and resources at the workshop. Completion of this course is required to gain access to the space.

**Please Note: For the safety of our users, we are currently limiting workshop access and prioritizing trainings for residents and employees with business-critical fabrication needs. Safety training registrations are therefore available by request only. If you have been approved for shop access, please email technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to request registration. In your email please include some details on what project you’ve been approved for, and the approver.
1. Safety- Global Workshop Safety Training is required prior to signing up/attending this course.
- Employees: Please register for this training in Absorb, and email technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to let us know once you have completed the training.
- Residents register here and send your passing score to technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com.
2. YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES. The safety orientation includes a walk-through of the workshop. Please contact technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com if you require special accommodations.
3. Only Autodesk employees, interns and approved 3rd parties are permitted to complete this training and become an authorized workshop user or tour guide at any Autodesk workshop location.
If you are not employed directly by Autodesk, check with your manager and hiring agency to ensure you are approved for "industrial exposure" and have the proper worker's compensation insurance for these additional hazards.
