Safety - Onsite Workshop Orientation (San Francisco)
Basic safety training and walk through of the San Francisco technology center. Required for shop access.
Description
This course is intended to introduce Autodesk's San Francisco Technology Center workshop and train new users and tour guides about the shop hazards, safety protocols, training programs and resources at the workshop. This course, along with Fire Extinguisher Training (San Francisco) is required to gain access to the Technology Center San Francisco workshops and labs.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. **Please Note: For the safety of our users, we are currently limiting workshop access and prioritizing trainings for residents and employees with business-critical fabrication needs. Safety training registrations are therefore available by request only. If you have been approved for shop access within the next two weeks, please email technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to request registration.
2. This class has a minimum registration of 2 students. If the minimum has not been met by Monday afternoon (2:00pm) the week of the training, that week's session will be cancelled and you will be asked to transfer to another session.
3. Safety- Global Workshop Safety Training is required prior to signing up/attending this course.
- Employees: Please register for this training in Absorb, and email technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to let us know once you have completed the training.
- Residents register here and send your passing score to technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com.
4. YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOED SHOES. The orientation includes a walk-through of the workshop. Please contact p9workshop@autodesk.com if you require special accommodations.
5. Only Autodesk employees, interns and approved 3rd parties are permitted to complete this training and become an authorized workshop user or tour guide at any Autodesk workshop location.
If you are not employed directly by Autodesk, check with your manager and hiring agency to ensure you are approved for "industrial exposure" and have the proper worker's compensation insurance for these additional hazards.
