Datron Neo - Safety, Operation & Basic Use

Learn to CNC on the Datron Neo mill.

Description

A deeper dive into machining fundamentals, focusing on the safe operation and unique capability of the Datron Neo. 
 
This includes CAM post-processing, machine set-up, work holding strategies, intuitive navigation/interface, approaches to dialing in speeds and feeds to achieve quality surface finish and micro-machining. Users are taken through the entire work flow of machine set-up, creating a sample part and encouraged to think strategically into how the Datron's unique capability can be leveraged. 

Proficiency on prerequisite equipment is required and up to the discretion of the shop staff. Users should have produced a successful project on the prerequisite equipment before registering for this course.
