Robotics Training – In Person (Boston)

In person, project specific robot training.

Description

Robotics Training – In Person

Industrial robot equipment is used across Autodesk – from research activities, technology center projects to on-site customer consulting – and presents unique and complex safety risks depending on the activity. Even robots considered “collaborative” or “human-safe” can be dangerous if misused for projects where integrated safety systems are ineffective. If you need robotics in your work, want to start the planning process for future robot work, or are curious about what robot safety is all about, sign up for an upcoming session.

The following will be covered:

  • Robot cell configurations at Technology Center Boston.

  • Safety features (interlock doors, laser scanners, safety zones, Emergency stops, etc.)

  • Robot’s reach and payload.

  • Locations of all brake releases and discuss their purpose.

  • The IRC5 controller.

  • Flexpendant and enabling devices.

  • Jogging a robot

  • Creating a TCP.
