Haas VF2 3-Axis Mill - Safety, Operation, & Basic Use

Put your CNC skills to use by learning to machine parts on the Haas CNC Mill.

Description

Students will learn the basics of safely operating the Haas VF2 3-Axis Vertical Mill—capable of cutting metal in 2.5D or 3D with high precision—including: startup, inserting tools, measuring tools, locating the workpiece, loading a program, and safely running a program. 

CNC Skill Check (required prior to registration):

Email the CNC Shop supervisor Orion Beach orion.beach@autodesk.com, to schedule a CNC Skill Check prior to registering for this class, after taking CNC 3, Advanced CAM Programming.

Audience

This basic operation class is suitable for students with CNC and 3D modeling experience and can be taken only after completing the CNC Pathway and CNC Skill Check.

The training will include a 30 minute lunch break.
