This course covers setup and safe operation of the Powermatic 4224 wood lathe. It is focused on learning how to use the machine and available tools safely and correctly starting with basic spindle turning. After training, users will be able to create candlesticks, wood pens, or even a baseball bat!

This is a safety and basic use class suitable for shop users of all levels of experience and is a good starting point to gain experience in wood lathes.
