Description

Please reach out to technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to schedule a training.

This machine agnostic training is a deep dive into the CAM setup and technical aspects of CNC machining. The course is delivered over Zoom by CNC experts at each site, and is intended to be taken as a prerequisite to all on-machine CNC trainings at any of the North American Tech Centers. Students will explore Fusion 360 tool pathing strategies, techniques, and applications in great detail, learn some basic machining theory, and go through setting up and programming a part in CAM software with a focus on:
  • File set-up
  • Stock set-up
  • Toolpath Strategies
  • Post processing

The pathway to access specific CNC machines after this training varies slightly at each site. Please reach out to technology.center.shop.classes@autodesk.com to schedule a training.
