Intro to Wood Shop - Safety & Operation (Boston)

Description

The class introduces users to the safe operation of many of our woodworking tools that allow you to cut and shape wood and other materials in the wood shop. Users will learn how to safely operate the sliding compound miter saw (chop saw), SawStop, table saw, and wood band saw. Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll be ready to cut and shape dimensioned material. 

Materials 

Plywood, solid wood, composite boards such as MDF, OSB, and many more. 

Audience 

The class is a great starting point for anyone interested in learning how to use woodworking equipment.
